Essen sits in the middle of the European fair map. Düsseldorf airport is 30 minutes from our office, and from there Milan, Barcelona, Vienna, Zurich and Geneva are one to two hours in the air. Paris and Amsterdam are reachable by high-speed train in under four and under three hours, Brussels in about two and a half. That geography lets us offer the same crew and fixed packages at Fiera Milano as at Messe Düsseldorf, with travel as one figure on top.
Most exhibitors who book us for a European show already know us from a German one. An exporter with a spring week at MEDICA and an autumn week in Paris does not want to brief two local crews and does not want two visual styles in one year's marketing. One team means the same shot list, the same colour grading and the same 24-hour delivery whether the stand (booth) is at Porte de Versailles or at Fiera Milano Rho.
In 2025 we covered Vapexpo Paris at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles for Sunakin, and we have filmed at Dubai World Trade Centre for YOOZ at the World Vape Show. The pattern is always the same: the crew arrives the evening before, is on the stand before the doors open, edits during the show, and the client has the highlight video before the stand is dismantled.
Paris has two exhibition centres and they are not interchangeable. Paris Expo Porte de Versailles lies inside the city on its southern edge, reached by Metro line 12 and the T2 and T3a trams, and hosts consumer-facing and mid-size professional shows including Vapexpo. Paris Nord Villepinte sits next to Charles de Gaulle airport and takes the large B2B fairs. Both are reached from Essen by high-speed train via Gare du Nord.
Amsterdam RAI stands on the southern ring road with its own railway station, about 15 minutes from Schiphol. Fira de Barcelona has two sites: the historic Montjuïc grounds near Plaça d'Espanya and Fira Gran Via in L'Hospitalet, where MWC and ISE take place. Fiera Milano Rho is the largest venue in Italy, at the end of Metro line M1 north-west of the city, and hosts Salone del Mobile, HOST and EICMA.
Messe Wien is next to the Prater on the U2 line. Messe Zürich is in Oerlikon, a few minutes by train from the main station. Brussels Expo sits on the Heysel plateau beside the Atomium, and Palexpo in Geneva is directly next to the airport, the easiest venue in Europe for a same-day arrival. Dubai World Trade Centre completes the list. Hall rules at all of them are close to the German ones: your own stand and staff may be photographed freely, neighbouring stands appear only in wide shots, and visitors in the foreground are asked first.
The packages are the same as in Germany: Trade Fair Basic €990, Professional €1,490 and Full Day €1,990, all excluding VAT. Travel and accommodation are added as one figure per trip, not per hour: flights or train for the crew, a hotel near the venue and local transport. You see that figure on the quote before you commit, and nothing is added afterwards.
If a second exhibitor books the same show week, the trip cost is split between them. We say so when we quote, and it is a reason to ask early: the first exhibitor sets the trip, the second halves the travel line. At shows such as MWC or Salone del Mobile this happens regularly.
Our equipment travels with us as hand luggage plus one checked case, so we need no local rentals. Editing runs on the same 24-hour schedule as in Germany through our remote editing team, and interviews are conducted in English, German, Arabic or Persian and subtitled in those languages. For Swiss, British and other non-EU companies the invoice is net without German VAT; EU exhibitors with a VAT ID are invoiced under the reverse-charge procedure.
The maths is simplest for multi-day bookings. A two- or three-day show booked as a block turns travel and hotel into a small share of the total, and it lets us plan the trip around your stand rather than around a single afternoon. Tell us the full show week when you ask for a quote and we will price it as one job.
