Lyon and Marseille are one and a half to two hours by air from Düsseldorf, and Eurexpo lies a short taxi ride from Lyon Saint-Exupéry. Strasbourg we reach by car or train along the Rhine in about four and a half hours. Travel and hotel are quoted once per trip and shared with any other exhibitor booked for the same show week; over a multi-day booking they become a small share of the total.
French and other EU companies with a VAT ID receive a reverse-charge invoice without German VAT; companies outside the EU are invoiced net. The packages are €990, €1,490 and €1,990 plus VAT, identical to Germany, and most exhibitors who book us for France also show in Düsseldorf or Frankfurt in the same year.
Paris has two exhibition centres. Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in the 15th arrondissement is the largest in France, seven pavilions on Metro line 12 and the T2 and T3a trams, home to VivaTech in June, the Salon International de l'Agriculture in late winter, the Mondial de l'Auto in even-year Octobers and Vapexpo Paris. Paris Nord Villepinte sits beside Charles de Gaulle airport with its own RER B station and takes the large B2B fairs: SIAL Paris in even-year Octobers, Maison&Objet in January and September, and Global Industrie, which alternates with Lyon.
Eurexpo Lyon in Chassieu, close to Saint-Exupéry airport, is the second-largest venue in France and hosts Sirha, the hospitality and food-service show, every odd-year January. The Parc des Expositions in Strasbourg at Wacken, beside the European Parliament, hosts the Foire Européenne in September and a regional trade calendar.
Parc Chanot in Marseille lies beside the Stade Vélodrome on Metro line 2 and hosts the Foire Internationale de Marseille in early autumn along with professional shows for the south. Photo rules at French venues match the German pattern: your own stand, staff and products may be photographed freely, visitors in close-up are asked first.
