Rotterdam is about 210 kilometres from our office in Essen. We travel from Essen or Düsseldorf by car along the A3 and A15, a little over two hours with the full kit in the boot. We arrive the evening before the first shooting day and are on the stand before the doors open.
Travel and hotel are quoted once per trip and shared between the exhibitors we serve in the same show week. Europort attracts suppliers from Norway, Turkey, Korea and China who all need the same few days of coverage; three of them each carry a third of the journey. Over a two- or three-day booking that share becomes a small part of the total, while the packages stay at the fixed euro prices we charge in Düsseldorf or Cologne, €990, €1,490 and €1,990 plus VAT. Dutch and other EU companies with a VAT ID receive a reverse-charge invoice; companies from outside the EU pay no German VAT either. Briefing, direction and delivery run in English.
Rotterdam Ahoy sits on the south bank at Zuidplein, ten minutes from Rotterdam Centraal on metro lines D and E. Six exhibition halls, the RTM Stage arena and the Rotterdam Ahoy Convention Centre share one site, so a trade show, its congress programme and the evening event are a short walk apart.
The programme reflects the largest port in Europe. Europort, the international maritime technology show, runs in November of odd years and fills Ahoy with shipbuilders, equipment makers and offshore suppliers from across the world. InfraTech, the fair for infrastructure and civil engineering, follows in January of odd years. Congresses use the convention centre year-round and Maritime Industry in nearby Gorinchem serves inland shipping in spring.
Before opening on the first morning we photograph the stand while it is still clean: architecture, lighting, signage, product displays and technical detail. Once visitors arrive, the focus moves to your engineers and sales team in real conversations, live demonstrations and the aisle traffic in front of your stand. No handshake is staged and no negotiation is interrupted.
On a second or third day we add on-stand interviews with your management, shipyard partners or customers, product close-ups in the quieter hours and the evening reception if you host one. Vertical clips can go out while Europort is still running; the finished films arrive within 24 hours after the show day ends, cut by our remote editing team while you are still in Rotterdam.

The drive from Essen and the hotel are quoted once per trip and split between the exhibitors we serve in the same week at Rotterdam Ahoy. Over two or three days at Europort or InfraTech that single share stays a small item on the quote.
Four to six weeks ahead is comfortable for Europort or InfraTech, where several exhibitors usually book the same week. Short-notice requests are realistic because Rotterdam is a two-hour drive from Essen.
Our working languages are English, German, Arabic and Persian. Briefing, direction and delivery run in English, which is how exhibitors and venue staff at Ahoy work with international crews.
As an exhibitor you may photograph and film your own stand. We stay within your stand and the aisle in front of it and register in advance where an organiser requires a supplier or press pass.
Selected material is uploaded during the day and our editing team in Germany cuts remotely while you are still on the stand. Photos and video arrive as a private download link within 24 hours after the show day ends.
