MEDICA is a trade-only fair. The audience is doctors, hospital purchasing managers, distributors and technical decision-makers. That audience is not interested in atmosphere shots with a champagne glass — they want to see the product, the detail, the build quality, and the person who can explain it.
So we weight the coverage differently than at a consumer show: more product detail, more genuine consultation situations on the stand, more portraits of your specialists. The classic wide stand shot still matters — but at MEDICA it is not the image that wins business.
One specific point applies to medical devices: images showing a product in a clinical or application context are subject to regulatory constraints in some markets. Tell us in advance which depictions are problematic for your target markets, and we will avoid them at the point of capture rather than during selection afterwards.
Because a large share of your international distributors and partners are already on site, MEDICA is the cheapest opportunity all year to record video statements. People you would otherwise have to visit individually are standing on the same site for four days.
We set up a compact interview position in a quieter corner of your stand: lighting, radio mic, neutral background. A statement takes ten to fifteen minutes including setup. Across four days, ten to twenty usable interviews is entirely realistic.
On request we deliver the cuts with English and German subtitles, so the same footage works across several markets.
For a four-day fair we do not recommend treating every day the same. What works: Day 1 as full coverage — clean stand photography before opening, then the busy pictures and the first interviews. Day 1 images go online the same evening and pull visitors in for the remaining days.
Days 2 and 3 in shorter blocks for further interviews, partner meetings and stage programme. Day 4 is usually calmer and suits team and portrait work that gets squeezed out earlier in the week.If the budget allows only one day: take the first. The images then have three more show days to do their work.
Nothing needs to be arranged locally on your side. We arrive with our own cameras, lenses, lighting and audio, meet you at the stand during build-up or first thing on the morning of day one, and agree the shot list in about ten minutes.
Invoicing is issued by a German GmbH with a VAT identification number, so EU-registered companies are billed under the reverse-charge procedure with no German VAT added.
Finish, materials, displays and controls — properly lit, even in difficult hall lighting.
Your specialists in conversation with hospital buyers and distributors — the images that demonstrate competence.
Video statements from your international partners while they are on site anyway. Subtitled in English and German.
Architecture, signage and lighting before the doors open, while the space is still clean.
60–90 seconds per show day for LinkedIn — online the same evening.
Consistent portraits of your show team for your website, LinkedIn and press pack.
Your trade fair content should be ready while the attention is still there. We shoot the moments that matter, edit fast, and hand over finished photos and video the same day — depending on schedule, scope and the package you book.
Fixed prices, defined deliverables, predictable turnaround. All prices exclude VAT and include travel within North Rhine-Westphalia.

Tell us the date, venue, stand size and what the images are for. You normally get a fixed-price quote within 24 hours, with no hidden line items.
We arrive with our own equipment, work discreetly around your stand, and never interrupt a conversation or a demo. Shot list agreed in advance.
Edited photos and cut video via a private download link — same day on selected packages.
From €990 excluding VAT for three hours on site with 60–100 edited images. Photo and video combined from €1,950; a full show day with two operators from €3,490. Reduced rates apply from the second day. Travel to Düsseldorf is included.
MEDICA is the most heavily requested show week of the year in Düsseldorf. We recommend booking by the end of September; after that the popular morning slots get tight.
Yes. Interviews, direction on the stand and the entire engagement can run fully in English.
Yes, since both run on the same site. A hall change costs 20 to 30 minutes depending on distance, which we build into the schedule.
Booked with same-day delivery, you get a first edited selection the same evening — in time to use them for the remaining show days.
Depending on the target market, depictions of medical devices in application contexts can be restricted. Tell us your constraints in advance and we will respect them at the point of capture.
We invoice as a German GmbH with a VAT ID. EU-registered businesses are billed under reverse charge with no German VAT. Non-EU companies receive a net invoice.
Send us your hall, stand number and the days you want covered. You normally get a fixed-price quote within 24 hours.
