Riyadh has grown into the busiest new show city in the region, and its exhibitions are spread over several grounds. Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center lies in the north of the city on the airport road, a short drive from King Khalid International Airport, with large flat halls, wide entrances for heavy exhibits and a hotel and retail strip next door. The Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center, RICEC, is the older ground on King Abdullah Road, closer to the business districts and the hotels along the Olaya corridor. The very large technology and property shows of recent years have used the exhibition grounds at Malham, further north beyond the airport, where a show can take an hour to reach from the centre in traffic.
Which ground your show uses can change from one edition to the next. We confirm the venue and hall with you before the trip and plan the hotel around it, because in Riyadh the drive between hotel and hall decides how early the crew is on your stand.
Riyadh is one to two hours ahead of Germany, and the working week runs Sunday to Thursday, so show weeks frequently open on a Sunday or Monday. Direct flights from Frankfurt take around six hours; from Dubai, Riyadh is about two hours in the air, which is how it joins a combined Gulf trip.
LEAP in February is the technology week and has become one of the largest of its kind anywhere: national pavilions, start-up zones, ministerial keynotes and a stage programme that runs all day. Exhibitors here need photos of the stand before the crowds, a clean set of product and demo pictures, and vertical clips that go out while the show is trending. Big 5 Saudi in the same season is the construction show, with heavy exhibits, national pavilions and long days.
Cityscape Global in the autumn brings developers, architects and investors to Riyadh with some of the largest and most elaborately built stands in the region: scale models, screens and hospitality lounges that deserve an architectural photo set of their own. Saudi Build covers the building trade with materials, systems and machinery. Conferences, launches and award nights around these shows are covered on the same trip, whether in a hall or at a hotel.
Our crew arranges its own visas and travel. For European passports the Saudi visa process is straightforward and takes days rather than weeks; you do not sponsor anything, we only ask you to register our exhibitor badges. We fly in the day before your first show day, are on the stand before the doors open, and work the same routine as in Dubai or Düsseldorf: empty stand and products first, then the team, then visitors and conversations, then interviews in a quiet slot with lavalier microphones and our own light. Footage is uploaded at midday and after closing, and the editing team in Germany cuts while your team is still at the show.
Saudi companies pay no German VAT. Pixer GmbH invoices in euro, 50 percent on booking and 50 percent on the show day, by bank transfer; we need your company name, address and commercial registration number for the invoice. Flights and hotel are quoted once per trip and shared between the exhibitors we cover in the same show week, and a Riyadh week is combined with Dubai or Doha whenever the dates line up, so the travel line stays small.

No. Companies registered in Saudi Arabia, or anywhere outside the EU, are invoiced without German VAT. We need your company name, address and commercial registration number; payment is by bank transfer in euro, 50 percent on booking and 50 percent on the show day.
The shooter uploads footage at midday and after the hall closes. The editing team in Germany, one to two hours behind Riyadh, cuts in the Pixer template during their own working day. First photos arrive the same evening, the finished set by the next morning at the latest.
