Dubai World Trade Centre sits on Sheikh Zayed Road at the Trade Centre roundabout, between Downtown and the financial district, around the tower that gave the area its name. The exhibition complex behind it is a long concourse with the numbered halls on one side and the Za'abeel Halls across the way, plus the Sheikh Saeed Halls, the Sheikh Rashid and Sheikh Maktoum Halls for conferences and the Trade Centre Arena for keynotes, award nights and concerts. The concourse connects everything under one roof, so a crew can move between halls without going outside.
Access is simple. The World Trade Centre metro station on the Red Line is linked to the complex by a walkway, Dubai International Airport is a quarter of an hour away outside rush hour, and hotels stand directly at the halls and along Sheikh Zayed Road. Exhibitors arriving from Europe land in the early morning and can be on the stand the same day.
For very large shows the calendar now uses a second address: Expo City Dubai with the Dubai Exhibition Centre, about half an hour south towards Jebel Ali. Some shows split between the two, others have moved. We confirm the hall with you before the trip and plan the route if your brand is in more than one hall.
Doors usually open mid-morning, and the hour before opening is the best of the day. We are on your stand as soon as badges allow, photograph the empty architecture, graphics and product displays while everything is still clean, then move to team portraits before the first visitors arrive. As the aisles fill we switch to conversations, demos and the atmosphere in the hall, always from the edge of the stand, never through a meeting that is going well.
Interviews are placed in a quiet slot, typically early afternoon, in a corner of your stand or on the concourse with our own light and lavalier microphones. The first upload of clean footage goes out at midday, the second when the hall closes, so the editing team in Germany is already working while your team is at dinner. First photos arrive the same evening, the finished set within 24 hours after the show day ends.
For multi-day shows we agree a plan per day: a Full Day on the opening day, when the stand is freshest and press and VIP visits are most likely, then shorter blocks on the following days for new visitors, new product angles and the vertical clips.
As exhibitor you may photograph and film your own stand, your team and your products. Our crew enters on exhibitor or contractor badges that you register for us, or on a media badge where the organiser offers one; we send you the names and passport details in good time. Tripods and lights stay inside your stand footprint so the aisles remain clear, and drones are not flown inside the halls.
Other stands and their products are not filmed without asking. Visitors who appear recognisably and centrally in a picture are asked for consent where required; wide hall shots and crowd atmosphere are not a problem. Several Gulf shows have their own media rules for stage and conference areas, and organisers occasionally restrict photography in particular sectors, so we check the exhibitor manual of your show before the trip and brief you on anything unusual.
The halls are air-conditioned and lit with consistent artificial light, which suits clean stand photography and keeps colours stable across a day. The concourse and the entrances bring in daylight and are good for portraits. Exterior shots of your signage, the Trade Centre tower or the arena entrance are taken early in the morning or after sunset; at midday the sun is too harsh and, for much of the year, too hot for anyone to stand in for long. Equipment that moves from a hot street into a cold hall fogs up, so cameras stay inside and go out only for planned exterior shots.
Timing shifts with the calendar. During Ramadan, show hours are commonly shorter and hospitality moves to after sunset, so the shot list is compressed into the open hours and evening events are planned separately. Awards dinners and launch receptions along Sheikh Zayed Road or at the hotels next to the halls are covered by the same crew on the same trip.
Empty-stand set before opening, then the same stand busy with visitors, from the hall entrance to the product detail.
Consultations, demos and tastings as they happen, photographed and filmed from the edge of the stand.
A 30-second highlight film in every package, a 90-second film with Full Day, cut overnight in Germany.
Leadership, distributor and customer statements with lavalier microphones, subtitled in English and Arabic.
9:16 clips for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, shot in parallel with the main coverage.
Product launches, award nights at the arena and hotel receptions on Sheikh Zayed Road, same crew, same delivery.
A post with your stand while the show is still running gets seen and shared. That is why every package includes finished photos and video within 24 hours after the event ends — first images usually the same day. Two revision rounds included.
