The Landesmesse Stuttgart sits in Leinfelden-Echterdingen on the Filder plateau, directly next to Stuttgart Airport; the terminals are only a few hundred metres from the halls and can be reached on foot. The grounds have ten numbered halls. Hall 1 is the L-Bank Forum, Hall 10 the Paul Horn Halle, which opened in 2018. The standard halls 3 to 9, with their curved roofs, shape the look of the venue. The ICS, the International Congress Center Stuttgart, with congress hall C1, multifunctional hall C2 and seminar rooms, is part of the same site.
For photo and video this means: the halls are large and evenly laid out, and stands stand in clear rows. Overviews of your stand work best before visitors arrive, because the aisles fill quickly afterwards. For details, machines in motion and portraits we bring our own light, so colours and surfaces are right regardless of the hall lighting.
Many exhibitors combine their stand with a talk in a forum or in the ICS. We put those appointments into fixed time slots and are back at the stand in time. Send us hall, stand number and any talk times with your request.
Many stands use large LED walls and bright light boxes. To keep screens from flickering or burning out in photos, we match shutter speed and exposure to the walls and shoot the content you want to show in a quiet minute. In video we match the frame rate to the screens. That way logo, claim and product images on your stand stay readable, even when the footage is later watched on a phone.
The venue has two visitor entrances. Entrance East is served by the stop Flughafen/Messe, Entrance West by the stop Messe West or the West bus terminal. From Stuttgart Central Station, the S-Bahn lines S2 and S3 run to Flughafen/Messe, and the U6 light rail stops at Messe West and Flughafen/Messe. Parking is available at Entrance West, in the ICS underground garage and in the Bosch car park, which spans the A8 motorway opposite Entrance East and is reached directly from the motorway.
For exhibitors flying in, the airport location is a real advantage: you land, walk to the halls and set up. We meet you at the stand before opening. Our kit is compact and fits into rolling cases; two camera bodies, lenses, a gimbal, lavalier microphones and LED lights need no delivery slot.
Travel from Essen is quoted once per trip and shared between exhibitors of the same show week. Companies from outside the EU are invoiced without German VAT, EU companies with a VAT ID receive a reverse-charge invoice. The edited photos are ready before your flight home.
The house rules of the Landesmesse Stuttgart prohibit photography, film, video and audio recordings for commercial purposes, in particular of stands and exhibits, without the venue's prior written permission. For commissioned photographers there is a dedicated form: with the confirmation for photo and video recordings, the exhibitor declares that it has commissioned the named photographer for its stand. With this form the photographer registers before starting work at the main security office at the main vehicle entrance, Gate 1, or at the information desk of Entrance East or West.
The form sets clear rules. Only the named stand may be recorded, and the crew stays on the stand area and the immediately adjoining space. Aisles must be kept clear. Drones are not permitted, and the venue's own equipment such as aerial work platforms may not be used. Lighting has to run on the exhibitor's power supply, and the hall lighting may not be switched on. Outside the opening hours a paid security guard is required, ordered at least one week in advance through the venue's service portal.
For you this means: we send you the pre-filled form in advance, you sign it, and we register with it on the show day. We plan stand photos within opening hours so no guard is needed. If you want shots outside those hours, we tell you early enough for the order to go through. Under the form, data protection and third-party rights are the exhibitor's responsibility; with recognisable visitors we ask before we shoot.
Autumn opens with Motek, Bondexpo and VISION, together with interbad. Motek and VISION are about automation and machine vision, so the subjects are machines, grippers and cameras at work. Video takes a large share here, because a robot in motion explains more than a still. Arbeitsschutz Aktuell, südback, SÜFFA and the Adhesives & Bonding Expo follow.
CMT in January is a consumer show for caravanning and travel, with full halls and many conversations on the stands. R+T comes in February, eltefa, TecStyle Visions and LogiMAT in March, where intralogistics is shown live with vehicles and racking. Fastener Fair Global and Control follow in spring 2027, parts2clean and Blechexpo in autumn 2027.
A typical day looks like this: before visitors are let in, stand overview, team photo and product details; from late morning, demos and conversations; in a quieter phase, interviews with lavalier microphones. In the evening the first selection goes to you, the rest follows within 24 hours. Shows running in parallel, such as Motek and VISION, combine well when several exhibitors book the same week.
At consumer shows such as CMT the aisles are full from late morning. We then shoot conversations from the edge of your stand, keep the aisles clear as the venue requires, and use the calmer time shortly before closing for final details.
Overviews, graphics and exhibits before visitors arrive, lit with our own lights instead of hall lighting.
Robots, systems and demos as video and burst sequences, timed to your demo schedule.
30 seconds in every package, plus a 90-second film with Full Day.
Statements in English, German, Arabic or Farsi, with lavalier microphones and subtitles.
9:16 clips for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, delivered together with the photos.
Keynotes and panels in the congress centre, recorded with one or several cameras.

A sample from our production: the event recap for your website and LinkedIn — below it, native 9:16 footage for Reels, Shorts and Stories, shot in parallel with the main coverage.
